Ministries

“Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.”
2 Corinthians 4:1

Local Ministry

Are driven by our vision: To be a church of Jesus Christ, entirely devoted to the glory of God.

Children's Ministry

Our Sunday Children’s Ministry is a fun and engaging time for young children to learn about God. The children hear the gospel each week as they sing songs, play games, hear stories and read Scripture.

Midweek Life Groups

At CV Community Church, we take seriously God’s command to never neglect meeting together to exhort, encourage, rebuke, uplift one another, and enjoy learning with one another.

Evangelism/Outreach

Intentional and spontaneous evangelism throughout the week. This is time taken out of the week to spread the good news about Christ in our local Clarence Valley region. Examples of this include park ministry, handing out Bibles & Tracts, street evangelism, and going door-to-door.

Churches Who Partner With Us

We have a number of vetted and well-established international ministries that are already being supported, including church-connected orphanages in Myanmar. If your church would like to help build churches, develop meaningful Christian partnerships, participate in international missions, and care for orphans and widows, we would love to hear from you.
You can choose to fully support an existing ministry already in operation or partner alongside us in strengthening and expanding its impact.
The need is great, and every contribution makes a difference. Any support, whether through prayer, financial giving, or practical partnership, is deeply appreciated.

As part of our duty of care to the international ministries and carers we support, Australian churches seeking to take on a ministry partnership will need to undergo an appropriate vetting process. This ensures that the ministry, its workers, and the children and families they serve are protected and supported well.
Once a church has been approved, we will provide training, guidance, and ongoing support before gradually handing over responsibility for the ministry partnership. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition that honours existing relationships and promotes the long-term health and sustainability of the ministry.

What Would You Do?

The civil war has taken a devastating toll on the precious people of Myanmar. Few people realise that Christians have been among the primary targets of military attacks. Many adults, particularly parents, have lost their lives while attempting to escape the violence or while hiding in the jungles, where many have succumbed to starvation and disease.
In a desperate effort to protect their children, many parents and relatives sent them towards the capital in search of safety before fleeing themselves. As a result, countless children have been left orphaned or separated from parents who are now dead or missing, with little hope of being reunited in the near future.
As Christians, what more can we do than pray and give what we can to support these children—our brothers and sisters in Christ abroad? Through God’s grace, we help establish and support orphanages that provide protection, care, and hope for these vulnerable children, giving them the opportunity for a brighter future.
Just $25 per week provides full-time care, education, food, accommodation, and all essential needs. There is no middleman involved; we work directly with established local churches to ensure support reaches those who need it most.

1 Child At a Time

Working together with our international partners at Christ Glorious Church, we have, by God’s incredible grace, successfully planted two churches and opened two schools that provide weekly education to more than 150 precious children.
These children are gathered from some of the most disadvantaged communities and are given the opportunity to receive a free education that their parents could never hope to afford. As slavery remains prevalent in this region, many—if not most—of our students come from homes that often struggle to meet even their most basic needs.
All of our work is gospel-centred, reflected through both the educational material we teach and the Christlike care we provide for our children. We are motivated by what Jesus has done for us and by the knowledge that these children may become the next generation of evangelists, preachers, teachers, and servants of Christ.
Please prayerfully consider supporting a child.
Just $10 per week provides everything a child needs throughout the year, including books, uniforms, teachers’ salaries, and access to clean drinking water. There is no middle man we work directly with the local established churches.
